I like to listen to each verse three times in a row. I record for my own personal use by
using the open source
Audacity.

To illustrate the use of the site I will use the same reading for Shabbat be-sha-lach and in particular
Exodus, chapter 16, verses 1 through 8
that I used to explain how to obtain the text.

On the main page
click on "Torah" and then click on "Exodus" and then on "BeShalach"

You are now at chapter 13, verse 17 which starts the reading.

Chapter 16, verses 1 through 8 is part of the fifth reading
(yearly cycle) for "Shabbat
BeShalach". The readings are listed in tiny letters just above the heading "BeShalach".

Note that on the left the text is in blue with a normal font and has both the vowel-signs
and the cantillation signs. On the bottom the same text is in black with Torah fonts, but without vowel-signs
or cantillation signs. This enables you strart practicing with a normal text and then practice as if you had
a Torah scroll in front of you.

Click on the arrow just to the left of the numbering 16:1 and the singing will start.
To continue through the various verses use the button "forward" on the far right.

Note that for verse 2, at the top, there is a circle
to indicate a "ketib-qere", but the
text just has the "qere", with the "wav" replacing the "yod". This is what the cantor sings.
The text in the Torah font has neither the "wav" nor the "yod".
Remember the old adage "Singer beware!"

In the upper right corner it says, "contents". Clicking on this will
bring you back to the
main menu and you can choose "haftarot" or "Brachot" or "translation" or one of the tools on the left.
