Information and images related to the Jews of Germany.

Information and images related to the Jews of Hesse. All the ancestors, aside from most of those in the Hilchenbach and Leipzig groups, came from the state of Hesse or one of its historical predecessors.

Information and images related to the Jews of the Westphaiia region of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia or one of its historical predecessors. Most of the ancestors in the Hilchenbach group came from this region.

Various information and references concerning Jewish cemetaries in Germany. Contrary to what one would have expected from Nazi Germany, many of the Jewish cemetaries were not disturbed. Many cemetaries, especially cemetaries in the state of Hesse, have been catalogued.

Of particular interest, because of the number of ancestors who are buried there, is the cemetary at Binsförth, north-west of Heinebach. I have divided this section according to the various people from the Heinebach group who are buried there:
