General Information
- Tentative lecture schedule

The actual material covered in each lecture is below.
- Textbook:
``Discrete Mathematics'' by Norman L. Biggs (Oxford Science
Publications, 2nd edition).
- Prerequisites:
One of MATH2108, MATH3101 or MATH2100, or permission of school.
- Classes begin: Monday January 6, 2014.
Classes end: Monday April 7, 2014.
Tutorials start: Monday January 13, 2014.
- Term mark:
There will be three 50-minute tests in the tutorial classes
of Mondays February 3, March 3 and March 24, 2014. You are
expected to take the three tests. No make up, early, or delayed
test. A missing test will be counted as zero. Medical excuses,
other than hospitalization, will not be considered. Each test
is worth 15% of the final mark; total in midterm tests: 45%.
Important: to pass the course you need at least 30% of
term work (equivalent to 13.5% out of 45% of the total marks for
tests).
- Evaluation:
Term mark is 45%. The final examination is 55%.
- Withdrawal: The last day for withdrawal from the course
without academic penalties is the last day of classes.
- Academic Accommodation:
