General Information
- Tentative lecture schedule

The actual material covered in each lecture is below.
- Textbook:
``Calculus'' by Angelo B. Mingarelli (Millennium Series in Calculus),
along with a Solutions Manual, first edition (August 2002).
- Prerequisites:
Pre-University Calculus: An OAC in Calculus, or Carleton University
69.007*, or equivalent. Students who have not passed the prerequisite
course should speak personally with the instructor.
- Classes begin: Thursday, September 4, 2003.
Classes end: Monday, December 1, 2003.
Tutorials start: Thursday, September 11, 2003.
- Term mark:
There will be one 2-hours test on
Saturday October 25, 2003.
The material for the test is Chapters 1 through 5, included.
You are expected to take the test. No make up, early,
or delayed test. A missing test will be counted as zero.
- Evaluation:
Term mark is 40% (test: 30%, tutorials: 10%).
The final examination is 60%.
- Calculators:
No calculators are allowed.
- Withdrawal:
The last day for withdrawal from the course is
Friday November 07, 2003.
- Help Centre:
The Help Centre in HP1160 will be opening on
Monday, September 22.
Hours for the centre:
Monday to Thursday: 10 am to 4 pm.
