Am re-newing an old interest. Any information would be appreciated.
Especially at this time suggestions re: the easily accessibly/less costly felt-tipped "calligraphy" pens.

The header of the page is terrific.
I haven't seen much yet, but will send my thoughts after perusal.
I'm a professional calligrapher from Boston and am in process of designing my own site.

I truly enjoy your site and am interested in knowing
more and more about ways of practicing Chancery italic
in order to become a better calligrapher.
Thank you very much.

I would love to see some full alphabets of a variety of different styles
and eras. I have been doing calligraphy myself for about eight years
and am always looking for new ideas.

Nice to find your site. I subscribe to"Journal for the Calligraphic Arts"
and this month the editor covered the Internet and gave some references for sites.
The most sought after came up as no URL on this server! So I put World Wide Scribe in Yahoo and found your location which I will check out thoroughly.
I live in Clovis, California (central California) next to Fresno.
Beyond the first classes, I am a continuing calligrapher, self-taught by many books.

This is a great site. I found the links very helpful. I feel that a great addition to your list would be the Letter Arts Review page It is a great preview of the of the international magazine's quarterly publications.

I believe the Calligraphy site is outstanding. At the present time, I am interested in attending a three or four-day workshop of classes to improve my calligraphy. On a scale of 1 to 10, I am probably a a 7 or 7.5 and am interested in getting to the next level. Chancery italic is my best hand at present.

I am a calligrapher, graphic artist and business woman who has a nationally
recognized custom invitation business to sell. I am unaware of trade
journals to reach those calligraphers/artists who may be interested in
discussing the possibility taking over this business. I recently completed
my graduate studies and have pursued a different career which leaves me no
time to attend to the existing calligraphy/etc., business. Please contact
me at the address listed above to discuss this further.
Thanks.

Thank you for the well selected links.

Took up the broad-nib pen in the late 1960s for a
mss page of Psalm 23 in the high school literary magazine,
then a commission for cover and title page in a contra-
dance book. But mostly do it for my own enjoyment and
as presents and letters to friends.

Enjoy your pages and gallery, may order your notes
to learn the terms en francais.

Interesting ... i had to stay until i saw everything. expecially liked the java-powered page. are you pleased with the response from this site in connection with the calligraphy ring?

Answer: Yes, in my view, the webring is a wonderful idea ... we need to get more calligraphers involved with their own websites and ideas.

You took my breath away! What beautiful work! What a beautiful soul you have! And you have exposed it through your work. I hope you and your father live forever, and afterwards, please teach calligraphy to the angels.
