You may arrive by taxi and get off at University Centre (UC). Tory Building (TB) is immediately behind UC.
Walk to the south corner of UC and
take the slowly ascending concrete path to pass the slope of tall pine trees. You will see a side entrance of
TB.
If you arrive by bus, get off at the main bus stop on the west side of the Otrain station.
Look into the south direction of the bus route and you will see in the 1 o'clock direction
a blue glass building, which is Tory Building. The highest building (DT) is in the 2 o'clock direction.

Registration
Registration: $50 (cash only, sorry for the inconvenience as we do not have a credit card machine). Includes workshop dinner and refreshments. Supplementary dinner ticket $40.
Workshop dinner: 7 pm, May 28. Location to be announced.
Although the registration time is quite flexible, your early confirmation of participation is appreciated. This will give us
extra time for the planning on the workshop dinner and catering, and for the preparation of name tags, etc.
If you drive to Carleton University and need on-campus parking permits,
I can order on your behalf (complimentary for speakers). Please let me know by May 25.
Transportation: How to get to Carleton University
The Carleton University campus is connected to the downtown area by two buses: Routes 4 and 7. Get off the bus at the Otrain stop.
You can find Route 4 bus stops near the intersections of Queen St. and Bank St., Queen and Elgin St., and also along Bronson Avenue. There are many Route 7 bus stops along Bank St.
From Ottawa International Airport to downtown:
Taxi (about $25-30), or bus route 97 (fare $3.45).
From Ottawa airport to Carleton University: Taxi (about $20-25), or bus Route 97, change to bus Route 4 at
Billings Bridge station (use the ticket for transfer).
The Greyhound Bus Station is at 265 Catherine Street, located in the downtown area. Take the Route 7 bus to Carleton University.
The Ottawa VIA train station is at 200 Tremblay Road.
From the nearby bus station (over the bridge from the VIA train station), you can take one of several buses showing the destination Hurdman, where many buses are available for traveling to the downtown area, including Route 4 to Carleton University.
Note: A limited number of VIA train tickets at bargain prices are
available on the VIA rial web site. You can book early to enjoy such prices.
