Unless otherwise specified, all programming parts of assignments must be done using Matlab. In general, your tutor will not need to run your programs. However, just in case he does, you must create a directory called cscC51 in your home directory under your Math Lab account. In this cscC51 directory, you must create 4 subdirectories called asg1, asg2, asg3 and asg4 (one for each assignment). In the appropriate directory you must keep the programs which you submit for your assignments. You will instruct us to what names you have used for your program files. You should not touch those files once you have submitted your assignments as the timestamps on them serve to show that your work was done on time in case of lost/misplaced assignments.
