Associate Professor, School of Mathematics and Statistics, Carleton University

My research interests are in number theory and its applications, which include:

- Representations of integers by quadratic forms
- Lambert series, Liouville's identities and Convolution sums.
- Determining explicitly discriminants and integral bases of algebraic number fields, and the prime ideal decompositions of rational primes in algebraic number fields.
- Evaluation of character sums such as Gauss sums, Jacobi sums and Brewer sums, and their applications to determine the group order of certain types of elliptic curves.
